Richard Mason joined MLB Commercial Real Estate at its founding in August of 2020. With a decade of comprehensive experience in the commercial real estate sector, Richard specializes in land and investment sales. His deep-seated knowledge and expertise have made him a pivotal figure in navigating complex deals, offering clients unparalleled insights and strategic solutions.
Before his tenure at MLB Commercial Real Estate, Richard honed his skills at Avison Young’s Houston office for five years, where he focused on land, industrial, and investment properties. This experience laid the groundwork for his adeptness in identifying opportunities and executing transactions that maximize value for his clients.
Education & Affiliation
A native of Houston, Richard attended Strake Jesuit High School and earned his Bachelor’s in Real Estate from the University of Mississippi. He served as leader of Avison Young’s Emerging Leaders organization in 2017. Richard currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Greater Northside Management District. He is also an active member of Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo’s Ranching & Wildlife Committee, Sky High for Kids and Casa de Esperanza’s Young Professionals organization, where he chaired their 2017 Chili Cook-off fundraiser.
